ESL Documentation

A textual region's coordinate system is based on columns and lines rather than pixel coordinates. There are no zero or negative lines or columns. The topmost line or column in a textual region is 1, and numbers increase as you move downward.

For example:

move to column 8 line 3

tells ESL to move to the eighth character position in the third line of the textual region.
